Iridium Project – Lu’s Control The first bonafide single in the H&T catalogue, ‘Lu’s Control’ marks the debut of Craig De Sousa as the bands head producer. Once again the analogue synth lead sound comes pouring through, largely thanks to the use of the legendary Juno 106 synth by Juno. A bonding session with firm favourites Depeche Mode resulted in this at once catchy, radio friendly hit that marked Iridium’s second hit single on 5fm and other local broadcasters. Inspired production input from Nick Matthews and a freestyle keyboard-jam from Riccardo Moretti, along with Lu’s infectious vocal hooks made this tune a highlight on both radio rotation and live shows across South Africa. Find the radio edit on side A, and the extended club version on B, perfectly suited for DJ’s who are in full flight in the middle of a long night.
