Anna Robinson grew up in South Dakota. She can milk a cow, herd cattle, and she's a pretty good shot. But few of her friends back home knew she could write songs and sing. After college, she moved to the state of Washington, where she started playing her songs at local open mikes. They were songs she'd been keeping to herself since she started writing as a teenager as a way of coping with the death of her father. And heads turned. And the songs kept coming. And before long, she was working on "Good Girl," her first album now released on Olympia, Washington-based Exit 104 Records.
