Singer Songwriter Annie Rich Music seemed to beckon Annie from very early in life. Growing up on Cape Cod her love of music was fostered Raised in a musical household Annie demonstrated an eye opening musical gift singing and playing piano, guitar, drums as a child. By the age of 12 Annie was writing and performing music throughout the east coast. Growing up on Cape Cod her love of music and the sea was deeply encouraged by her music director Frank James a music teacher at Nauset Regional High school. Soon after came four recordings as well as radio and television appearances. She is often described as a quiet woman but explodes with power as she captivates audiences with her gift for writing and opens the hearts of all who hear her. It is apparent only seconds into listening to her newest work Places of the Heart that a new journey has begun and a passion has taken hold of each song on her twelve track project of original folk music with a hint of rock. Annie has performed on the Channel 7 – Morning Show, Channel 6's music show, Good Morning Music and Channel 12's Soul Village. She has also performed at many venues in New England and beyond, including at Eastern Nazarene College (Quincy), Coffeehouses throughout New England, The Town Hall (Provincetown) and The Women's Week Festival in Provincetown. She has been heard internationally on various radio stations in New Zealand, England and Costa Rica.
