Matura sings a wide variety of original songs and sanskrit chants that heal, inspire and delight the soul. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, harmonium, flute, and sitar and has a powerful and unique bluegrass harmonica style.

In the 70's & 80's he met such legendary musicians as Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, Huey Lewis and Robert Plant who inspired him to pursue electrified blues-rock. Since those early days in San Francisco he has appeared numerous times on radio, and recorded several albums in diverse genres such as rock, blues, bluegrass, folk, kirtan and world music.

As a gifted teacher of Bhakti Yoga, Author and a Certified Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor, Matura has conducted hundreds of classes, and lead uplifting kirtans in America, England, Australia & India, inspiring others to seek and serve the Conscious Spiritual Reality that is the basis of all world faiths.
