Jimmy Peters is a native of Seattle. When he is not working on his own material, Jimmy plays the steel guitar with the Big Valley Rangers, a local country band. His major musical influences include Randy Newman, Elvis Costello, Joni Mitchell and Hank Williams Sr. He is currently at work on a new CD, to be released in the fall of 2009. Jimmy records all of his songs at his home studio in Seattle's Beacon Hill neighborhood.
