简介
Jimmy Peters has been singing and playing guitar from a very young age. He began performing in his teen years as lead guitar player in his first band Waterfront. Jimmy was raised on rock and roll but also has explored country, folk, bluegrass, and blues. He got his country music stripes playing in the band Dallas while performing at many venues in southeastern Mass. Now Jimmy has returned to his rock and roll roots. He has performed with various groups and musicians recently. Some performances have included two NASCAR Race concerts at Loudon NH, Boston Harbor Cruises, Fairs, and many club venues. Collaborating with friends on various music projects, Jimmy continues jamming in band settings. Jimmy started a solo acoustic act with a string of performances at the end of 2004. He is writing original songs and occasionally performs them along with an extensive list of popular cover tunes. In June 2006 Jimmy was awarded Artist of The Month. This award was the result of a member poll at the music web site South Shore Muse.com. The single Nothing Lasts Forever was featured on the show Tomorrow's Dreams on WATD-FM (95.9 FM, The South Shore's Favorite Radio Station) June 11, 2006. Jimmy writes about events and people that have touched his life in some way. In 2005 Jimmy began collaboration with poet Kim Charette. Her words are a genuine expression of serious reflection on many deep major life experiences. Most of the songs on this CD are a result of this fruitful collaboration.
