Loving Ain't Easy was written by Thaiwanda as an expression of his experience of the times we live in today, where true love is getting harder to find and even harder to keep. The idea behind the song simply put is "loving ain't easy when everybody has a broken heart". By this Thaiwanda is referring to how it seems that everywhere he looks there are more and more broken people but at the same time acknowledging that and still pursing love regardless. This is part of his "Pages I wrote about you" series a follow up to his "Letters I hope you get" album. Altogether these form a collection of songs chronicling the trials and hardships of love, in the form of letters written to Love.
