I have so many people to thank for all that's happened over the past year. I do not know where I would be today without my home town of Alexandria, Virginia. This city got behind the campaign to make "When I'm With You" the Smashtune Songwriting Contest Winner and has provided constant support ever since. I would not have won that contest without the radio support of 94.7 Fresh FM’s Tommy McFLy and Jen Richer. I have to thank Colleen Kelleher of WTOP Radio for her support on the air and on the internet. I also would like to thank Terry Kester for being the first person to play one of my songs on the radio. The two people responsible for producing the songs on this CD are my biggest heroes, paulPEPPAS and Jeff Dayton. I think of Paul as my "LA" producer; he produced "Wondergirl", "This Moment", "How Do I Know" and "I Don't Know Why". Paul tells me what I need to hear, even if it’s not what I want to hear and I’ll always appreciate it. Jeff is my “Nashville” producer who, after spending decades with Glen Campbell, somehow agreed to work with me after Glen retired. Jeff even allowed me to use Ronnie Milsap's famous piano and Wurlitzer to record my songs. Jeff produced the Nashville versions of "Wondergirl" and "This Moment". He also produced my sentimental tribute to Mrs. Jones, The Godfather, Andre the Giant, and The Princess Bride (for brevity's sake it is called simply "Mrs. Jones"). My one regret is that “When I’m With You” did not make the cut for this CD, but that song will always have a special place in my heart; without it, I never would have been able to make these songs. I hope you like listening to them as much as I liked writing them!
