In June of 2011, Keira won the national Smashtune Songwriting Competition. The grand prize was a trip to Hawaii, where Keira was a finalist in the Kauai Music Festival's Songwriters' Contest. Keira's debut CD "Wondergirl" was released in November 2011. She was voted "Favorite Part of First Night Alexandria" in January 2012 and was awarded the 2012 Miss Nova Music Award in February. In August 2012, Keira wrote the score for the short film "American Financial" which subsequently won multiple industry awards. In the spring of 2013 Keira was admitted to Berklee College of Music and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, but ultimately decided on the University of Miami’s prestigious Frost School of Music. Currently, Keira is performing and writing new songs for her second album. She will be the face of the CBS/Gannett news services media campaign #18inAmerica.
