Arriving one year after a devastating fire that swept through campus, "City of God" is a powerful worship album that features songs from Westmont's Chapel services as well as tracks from the Westmont College Choir, Orchestra and Chamber Singers. Disc one captures exciting and heartfelt live praise and worship from the Westmont Worship Team, including a number of original songs by Director of Music and Worship Joel Patterson, entitled "Hope of the World" and "Even There Your Hand Will Guide." Disc two delivers a lineup of choral and orchestral pieces that defined the year for Westmont's music department.
