"Nightbird" features John's work, from early to present. It is interesting to hear the changes from what John calls the "technologically innocent" to the "technologically corrupt", as John changed recording from analog to digital.

Originally drawn from 2 albums,"Goodnight To The Sun" and "Sunbird",and newly recorded, the new album features music that reflects Cape Cod themes.

Hammered dulcimer abounds along with lots of guitars, banjo and synthesizers and once again draws on John's Irish/Celtic and folk/new age roots.

If you like many styles of original instrumental music, this album will become a favorite.
