This project evolved over a period of several months, arriving to work early and working with melodic ideas. At the time, I was employed as a guitar set up tech and used this creative time before clocking in...sometimes on the clock! I studied classical guitar years before in N.C. and later moved to Nashville to pursue a career in the country music arena. I toured with some name country artists from 1989 until 2006. It was in 2001 that I lost my oldest brother Ed to lung cancer. Eddie taught me my first "tunes" on a guitar when I was about 8 years old. This CD was recorded in memory of Ed. The CD cover is from one of his paintings I found after his death. It was never my intention to sell the CD. My good friend Mike Fleenor encouraged me to offer it through CD Baby. So here it is!! I appreciate Mike's tireless support! I have been told the tunes offer music to fall asleep by, or background music for a romantic dinner and yes , even a few weddings. I hope you find this album with love and I hope it brings some peace to you and your loved ones. I am donating a portion of each copy sold to The American Cancer Society. Thank you for your support!
