David Wood was raised by Margaret and Robert Wood. He grew up in Burleson, TX with a happy and loving childhood experience. He graduated from Burleson High School in 1988. David went to Baylor University and received his Music Education degree in 1993. Teaching wasn't for him so he started doing Customer Service jobs. In 1998, he met Mary. David married her in July of 2000. Over the next 10 years David began to learn about Digital Audio Workstations and started putting his former music theory and general music training to use. He is self taught in Musical Composition, Music Arrangement, Musical Performance and general Audio Engineering. While working, David would in his spare time build his home recording studio, learn about music technology and focus on his dream of making music and growing in joy. He completed the building of his home recording studio in the first quarter of 2010. It then took him nine months to compose the music, write the lyrics, come up with the arrangements and record the fourteen songs of his first musical album entitled "You Are The Voice".
