Syvia is an electropop/rock band based in Brooklyn that pairs gritty guitar riffs with a dark nordic spirit--it's the Northern lights meeting NYC's steel skyscrapers. The Wild Honey Pie describes Syvia's sound as "gauzy perfection," Earbuddy writes that it is "your new obsession," and The Examiner profiled the band with the headline "BK quartet ready for the world." Syvia's debut album FWD was released in February 2015.

Syvia's song "Hideout" was featured on October 25, 2012 on an episode of The Vampire Diaries airing on the CW TV. "Snow Falling Sleeping" was featured on September 30, 2012 on ABC's premiere of the show 666 Park Avenue.
