Ben grew up watching his father play the piano, and he began to play fairly seriously as a teenager. Ben attended Belmont University and received a degree in music. From there, he has written and recorded hundreds of songs. He has a gentle, passionate way of communicating his lyrics and his heart through his music.

This album was recorded in 2000, and is a collection of several songs written by Ben Travis. Ben lives in Nashville, TN, and this album was accompanied by a bass player and drummer who have toured with DC Talk, Twila Paris, and who both played on one of Steven Curtis Chapman's newest albums. The songs are professionally recorded, and are an example of Christian music at its finest.
