This is our favorite CD yet! Saturated with tracks developed by the amazing Jimmy Boyd, along with a special dedication track produced by James Linton, we couldn't go wrong, right? But wait - then we get the benefit of full production of the entire CD by SoundWaves Productions, and SHAZAAM!!! It is On the Edge!!! Literally! The title track "On the Edge" as well as "All About Peace" were songs inspired by our beloved Love in Action Choir. This awesome "New Thought Gospel Choir" was the brainchild of Unity of Mesa's beloved Rev. Joel Baehr. The CD also incudes our single "I Am a Ray of Hope", inspired by Ray Madaghiele, and took an entire community to produce it. Babylyne Isa wrote the beautiful "prayer rap" in the middle of the song. Many local new thought singers, choirs, friends, family and co-workers from around the world participated in the making. The song won an Honorable Mention in the 2013 PosiAwards. The CD also includes a special song dedicated to a dear friend, author Dee McCaffrey. Her books, "Plan D", "The Plan D Cookbook" and her latest, "The Science of Skinny" have helped thousands of people around the world to live a healthier lifestyle. Dee's song, "Paper and Pen", was sponsored by Tanner Goodsell - a living testimony to Dee's life saving work. As the song came to life, it quickly became apparent to me that the song was dedicated by Tanner, but also dedicated on behalf of ALL the lives that Dee has touched. Some of us are blessed to know Dee personally, but I quickly realized that most of Dee's readers don't actually know her. I had step back from our friendship and look from a different perspective. I never met Wayne Dyer, but he made a huge difference in my life, too - just like Dee. So as the words started to take form, to gain a broader perspective of Dee and her work, I occasionally noticed aspects of my relationship with Wayne Dyer, and caught images of him in my mind. I like to think he's still at work in the After Life, and helped write Dee's song. It wasn't until after the CD was done that I realized this song could have been dedicated to any one of thousands of spiritual, inspirational, and self-help book authors. But this song came to life because of the inspirational and life-giving work of one amazing woman, Dee McCaffrey. Thank you for making a difference, Dee. Tanner, thank you for this dedication, and for holding a place in the world for this song.
