Side A is ‘Feel This’, a track as unique in its interpretation of house as the city in which it was born. A multi-layered tech outing that has had SA’s dance floors up in arms, it is truly a feeling of the time and space from whence it came. Produced in an evening it sits as an obvious choice for the H&T catalogue thanks to its funk-fueled analogue synth style. Side B’s ‘Phunktechnique’ is a true B-side tune, inconspicuously catchy and ready for airtime with any DJ who takes the time to explore their record collection to the fullest. Despite its flip-side appeal, it is a true taste in talent, the kind of record that has obviously been produced by a man who knows his way around a DJ box. Featured on the Goodhope FM DJ compilation ‘The Night Watchmen’ in 2006.
