"My Body" was written when Ragnhild was about 10 weeks pregnant and started freaking out about all the weird changes happening to her pregnant body. It's a good thing that a pregnancy takes 9 months cause it can take a while to get used to the whole idea of a human growing inside one's belly.

The song was recorded while Ragnhild was still pregnant, and we made an attempt to rerecord it a few months after birth, but it was impossible to get the same fragile expression after her lovely baby arrived and there was no more to worry about. We also included a sample of the baby's heart beat recorded at a midwife exam. Kay Skogheim (husband) plays bass and steel guitar, and Ragnhild sings and plays acoustic guitar. So with the baby's heartbeat, the whole family is involved in the production. Mastering is by Jarle Steinhovden. We are releasing this song on 8th of march, which is the international women's day. We will play in Kolbotn 5th of march, Tønsberg 8th of march, and Manchester, England 12th of march. This is the first single from The Bee's Niece' 4th album which will most likely come in 2018, cause it's hard to get much recording done now with the baby..
