The Bee's Niece is Norwegian/American singer songwriter Ragnhild Zeigler's music project. She studied popular music and recording in Manchester, England and has previously released two albums with her English/Irish band. Now Ragnihld has moved back to Norway, become a social worker and politician as well as working with norwegian musicians and finally starting up her music career in Norway.

The Bee's Niece music is heavily based around the lyrics and the social awareness of Ragnhild clearly shines through in the music. The songs are filled with love, humor, quirkiness and twee as well as critical reflections on society mixed with angelic saw playing. The Bee's Niece has performed several times on BBC radio Manchester and BBC Radio Merseyside and was the house saw player on Norwegian telly NRK's slow tv national firewood night. The Bee's Niece has been on world tour and is now going on wedding tour with her husband Kay Skogheim who plays steel guitar and bass.

Her new band includes Kay Skogheim, Roger Amundsen, Espen Wolmer Fladmoe, Torbjørn Holte, Åse Ava Fredheim, Per Trygve Johnsen.

The Bee's Niece music will open your eyes and ears, move you to tears, get you laughing out loud and see the world in a different way.
