Franz Liszt was one of the most prolific composers of history, but his pieces are technically demanding. From a young age, Franz Liszt has been Christopher Tavernier's favorite composer, and indeed, he is a musical descendant of Liszt, through his teacher, John Cobb, through Claudio Arrau, and back to Liszt, and even Beethoven.

In 2015, Music in Landrum produced The Grand Tour, with Harmony Creek Studios. The full cd of 14 pieces by Christopher, played on a restored 1923 Steinway Concert Grand D Model, is available on Amazon and at musicinlandrum.org. Four of these selections are available on iTunes and other music sites. Christopher look forward to the day when he will play with the New York Philharmonic. Meanwhile, he is an excellent student in the eighth grade and an avid chess player.
