Skewed away from the sun, life on earth lies dormant and huddles any remaining warmth, awaiting the coming of spring. The music drifts with frozen drones and harmonic flurries. Movement is slow and measured, crystal textures lie heavy on stark landscapes. Recorded live to 2 track at the Cabana, Seattle WA. A table of synthesizers, samplers and effects make up the physical instrument that creates sunstrom sound. The music is created on the eve of final capture; discovered, performed, arranged, mixed and recorded finally. Being without revision, the process allows the music to remain alive and transparent.
