Peter Westheimer's first ever record release Laminex Lovers had extensive airplay and charted highly on a number of radio stations when it was first released in Australia. The music is like no other and is free and quirky. and could be categorised as synth pop or alternative dance.

'Tin Drum' is a fantastic song based on a child born in the second world war who is too scared to grow up into a dreadful adults world. 'No one in Particular' is totally unique with quirky guitar riffs whilst 'Happy Together' with English and Italian lyrics is optimistic and fun and 'Coconut Faces' is surreal.
