Once upon a time, a record executive in Nashville heard my music and said, "Hey, you are pretty good with a melody. Have you ever thought of writing children's music?" That started me thinking. It came to me one day that some holidays don't have children's music to go along with them, so I thought back to the constant parade of holidays I learned in grade school, sat down, and penned this songs over a period of about three weeks. Distilling the sometimes complex meanings of a holiday into simple terms was an interesting challenge! It is my hope that these little tunes will be both fun and instructive.
